WORKERS NEEDED IN UK FOOD AND AGRICULTURE
The Association of Labour Providers (ALP) has launched a new job-board to help tackle the labour shortage in UK Food and Agriculture.
The UK food and agricultural industries need more workers! Millions of pounds worth of soft fruit and vegetables are likely to be left to rot in fields this summer because of a shortage of pickers. Food factories are struggling to meet consumer demand.
To tackle this shortage the ALP has launched a job-board to allow growers, food producers, employers and labour providers to post vacancies in UK Food and Agriculture. Workers can apply directly for these jobs and naturally there is no charge to job-seekers.
David Camp, Director of the Association of Labour Providers said:
?The job-board will grow to become a definitive nationwide source of Food and Agricultural jobs for EU job-seekers and others entitled to work in the UK. Job-seekers will have the assurance that for regulated work only Gangmasters Licensing Authority licensed Labour Providers are able to advertise.?

What do you know about wet rooms? they are liking, and they are risky to have specially on suspended wooden floors. But that is not true. And I will try to explain how I fit wet rooms with guarantee and peace of mind.
Here you can see shower I did about a year ago. tow shower heads coming out of the wall (flower heads) and drainage on the middle of the floor. Tiles are cut in envelope shape and sloped to the drain.

The most important in wet room is tanking. This a process that secure wet area against leaks.

Thanking could be done in many various ways but most common is to use aqua panels and isolating tape. I would like to recommend Wedi shower trays as I work for many years with those materials and never had any problems with it.

The Wei Building boards combines lightness, structural stability, thermal insulation and moisture impermeability. Its surface provides an ideal substrate for thin-bed tile laying on walls and floor or the application of render finishes. Important to note that Wedi board and systems hold British board of Agreement Certificate accreditation, guaranteeing compliance with building Regulations in England, Scotland Irleand and Wales.

shower tray are in different shape ans sizes. All comes together as a kit including: base unit, drain body, O’ring,, Clamping collar, main sealing collar, cap tool, trap cup, siphon, grid frame extension collar, grid frame, stainless steel grid. Now let me shapes and sizes of wet rooms floor that you have to match to required area. If area is slightly smaller then shower base don’t worry we can always cut couple centimeters from sides to fit in required area.

That how floor looks like when it tanked. Walls was coved with moisture resistance board instead of aqua panels just to keep project within budget. So this only floor covered with panels and tanked. But I will show you later on the whole room properly tanked by me.

Here you have all materials you need to get for shower or wet room tanking. tapes, corners, washers, wall board panels (they could be on the floor ass well). Now there is nothing more then tiling. You can tile directly on top of those panels and shower base. Please remember to use waterproof tile adhesive and grout ass well ass flexible.

By the builder blog! As we can clearly see before and after project comes up. Project was to convert bathroom into living space with free standing bath and bedroom with no partition. So two spaces in instead of divided bedroom. What do you think??? Project carried out in December 07′.
We have removed all units to create space for brand new kitchen from magnet. A small island was a customer idea to create something like a breakfast bar. Wooden worktops gives much deeper feeling of big kitchen space. Units where fitted on both sides of kitchen.

On one side you had sink and washing machine, on the other oven, hood, and breakfast bar. We did all new sockets, and tiling on the walls. After that all walls where painted and decorated. project took about 10days to finish due to delays in delivery of worktop and broken sink during delivery. Project was to made of MDF, and then to paint.
We have done this wardrobe from scratch, all old furniture in this place was removed and site cleared. We have cut all materials (MDF sheets) off the side.

Nicely done wardrobe don’t you think? You can hung stuff, you got space for shoes, shelves where you can easily feed with anything like boxes or clothes.
