16 May 2011 – to this day is to be ready the National Stadium. National Sports Center stadium to specify the date of putting into service
This term gave yesterday Rafal Kapler, President of the National Sports CenterCompanies that offer to supply the construction of the stadium, will have to acknowledge that it observes – announced.

So far, six contractors have ask on behalf NCS 600 questions to tender. Janusz Kubicki, Vice President NCS, hardly inhibit irritation yesterday: – Construction of the stadium is a great engineering challenge. This huge, complicated construction, the rope supporting the roof will weigh a total of 1.2 thousand. ton. tonnes. The questions raised by bidders indicate that perhaps not all they appeared, to be aware of.
Rafal Kapler reassured: – Not surprised us the number of questions. In Gdansk, the participants of the tender for the construction of the local stadium to put their Euro 1.2 thousand. I hope to handle the answers and we will not have to move the deadline for submission of tenders.

A few weeks ago we claimed that the National Stadium could be more expensive than the initial 1.2 billion. Kapler said that many elements of the stadium facilities will be purchased in the euro area and the dollar fail to make are becoming more expensive. On the other hand, we have a crisis and for construction companies to acquire a large order, which guarantees the payment of the State has become so valuable that they will strongly compete with each other prices – called.

British Rule Financial very highly assessed the work of Lodz developers. Bought the entire company. This means 170 new jobs.
A good time for IT professionals. One year ago, introduced the company to Lodz Peer2Peer. At the beginning of a number of people employed, now expanded to over 30 But only the big recruitment starts.

The company involved in developing software for banks. ?ód? branch worked mainly for the British- One customer wanted to order our software. However, to confirm that the proposed solutions are of high quality, consult with a respected advisor in Cape Rule Financial. This very well assessed the work of Lodz and the developers decided to take a look at the Lodz company. And since the planned development of new markets, decided to buy ?ódzki branch.

The talks began six months ago. The decision was preceded by several meetings and a further assessment of Lodz. Fare well. – I just signed the contract. We have been absorbed into Rule Financial, which bought our company for 1.1 million pounds – says Piotr Or?owski, personnel director of the Lodz branch.

Rule Financial is a British company that is listed as Microsoft’s hundred fastest-growing new technology companies in the United Kingdom. Works in a 250 people, has branches in Barcelona and New York. ?ód? is the third.

Plans are that by the end of 2010 in the new company – now called Rule Financial – 200 people will work. This means 170 new posts. We seek high-class programmers – Or?owski says.

Earnings on that can count, they will – as they say leaders – similar to the “Lodz in the industry.” A programmer without experience begins from about 3 thousand zlotych Gross, and after three years, with a first draft, it can count on about 5.5 thousand. z? brutto. Project managers get up to 10 thousand zlotych.

There is much more similar companies that are looking for capital to grow. London?s based moGio is comparison engine focused on interior deco. They are people from Lodz, behind this project. From the start of its portal in 2007 moGio compare product over UK?s 150 retailers.

The recession in Western Europe effects Polish producers. They will be bankrupt. The markets does not help, even severe weakening of the zloty.
?ród?o: Rzeczpospolita Source: The Republic

Furniture buying most new tenants of housing. An average Pole, which is not carried into the new housing, changes the furniture once in 20 years. Meanwhile, housing sales falling.
Industry companies have trouble with falling foreign orders. Polish market is subject to the furniture downturn in Western Europe. And where consumers have begun to move this type of purchase durables to better times – Rados?aw ?ukaszczuk said from Millennium mortgage brokers. According to him, the dynamics of the decline in demand for furniture in the old Union may be a two-digit. Soon, statistics show.
In the first half of 2008 was still quite good. The value of Polish furniture exports exceeded 10.5 billion and the value of production sold across the industry reached 11 billion euro. But although the National Chamber of Furniture Manufacturers do not yet have data for the second half, it is known that the results for that period will be weaker. And in the first quarter of this year have dropped even more. – Some companies will have increasing problems with payments. Some fall – believes Tomasz Starus, director of risk assessment in the Euler Hermes.
Manufacturers claim that the problem is becoming more and more to insurance claims abroad. – This is especially in the Baltic countries, in Great Britain, let alone Russia or Ukraine – says Maciej Formanowicz, president of Forte. The situation does not improve even exporters undermine the PLN currency. Continued rapid fluctuations hinder effective financial planning.
The deteriorating situation of the industry may lead to changes in its structure. Some small companies will have to connect to the larger players to compete more effectively in the period falls. The big companies do not hide that the crisis will create opportunities for acquisitions, which could increase the scale of production or extend the range. However, such actions will be able to afford only company with a capital stock. Banks is now to approach with extreme caution furniture.
Collapse of furniture in the market continues down the sub-sector, including producers of lumber and solid wood. Illustrated by the results of the production of wood industry in the last quarter of last year. – From autumn began driving down the steep. If, in October 2008, the year of wood production declined by 10 percent compared with October of the previous year, to decline in November was already 25 percent – said Czemko Bogdan, director of the Polish Chamber of Commerce Wood. Drastically reduced the profitability of the industry: at the end of 2007 followed a year yet at the level of 5.6 percent. Meanwhile, for the three quarters of last year fell to just 0.4 percent.
Experts argue, however, that the crisis will pass, Furniture industry should return to their former condition. – In the longer term, it will still very prospective industry – says Tomasz Starus.
An example may be the intentions of the Swedish Ikea furniture tycoon who wants to grow despite the falls in your business. The company will invest in expanding its sales network in about 6 billion over the next 8 years. In Lodz, the cost of 200 million euro rise to a commercial park Port ?ód?. Retail and service center will be built in Los Angeles.

The crisis triggered a protest against the hiring of immigrants

Contract workers employed in nuclear power plants at Sellafield and Heysham yesterday protested against the import of builders from abroad who are taking the seizure of unemployed workers in Britain.
The first such strike began last Thursday in the oil refinery in Lindsey. The next day, joined by a further two refineries, two oil and gas terminals and two power plants. In all of these facilities are on-going construction work, or are planned.
Likely to be further protests, such as the London headquarters of French group Alstom, which is the contractor works in a power Staythorpe in Newark. Subcontracting work for foreign companies, mostly Poles. Local trade unions consider that the local employees have been omitted in the chapter 850 jobs.
Polish trade unionists are demanding but that the board instead of Belarusians and Ukrainians, the company received for the Poles, who lose work because of a crisis abroad and return to the country. Polish Agreement of Trade Unions announced that in the coming days to address a government request to allow in skilled workers to work only from the East, such as doctors or IT.
The battle for the hiring of local workers is extended to the whole of Europe, together with the growing problems in the labor market due to the crisis. In Italy, workers in factories Indesit None yesterday protested against the closure of the plant and move production to Poland. None The Mayor warned that the closure of the factory will be the social disaster for the city
